Dermatix Silicone Gel 15g is a clinically tested scar treatment designed to support the management of both new and existing scars. This self-drying, transparent gel is formulated to maintain the skin’s moisture balance while helping to visibly flatten, soften and smooth scar tissue. It also helps relieve the itching and discomfort that often accompany healing scars. Dermatix is effective on hypertrophic and keloid scars and can be used safely across a range of skin types.

Easy to apply, Dermatix dries quickly to form an invisible layer and is ideal for use on visible or high-movement areas such as the face or joints. It contains no active drugs and is suitable for sensitive skin, children, and even individuals at high risk of scarring. Consistent application twice daily is recommended for at least two months, with further improvements possible through extended use. Dermatix supports long-term scar management with comfort and convenience.

Warnings and cautions

• Do not apply to open or fresh wounds.
• Avoid contact with mucous membranes and eyes.
• Do not use over antibiotic or other topical treatments.
• Apply only to clean, dry skin.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Store below 25°C and away from heat.
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the packaging.
• Rarely, the gel may cause redness, pain or skin irritation.

How to use

1. Clean the area to be treated with mild soap and water, then pat dry.
2. Apply a very thin layer to the scar area twice daily.
3. Allow to air dry for 4–5 minutes before covering with clothing or applying cosmetics.
4. Remove any excess if the gel does not dry within 5 minutes and allow drying to complete.
5. Use consistently for a minimum of two months for visible results; extended use may improve outcomes.
