Warnings and cautions

• Do not take if you are allergic to calcium carbonate, vitamin D3, peanut or soya (contains soya oil).
• Speak to your doctor before use if you have kidney problems, high calcium levels, or sarcoidosis.
• Inform your doctor if you are taking other medications including calcium supplements, antacids, or specific antibiotics and thyroid treatments.
• Allow a 4-hour gap between taking Adcal-D3 and other medicines such as iron, bisphosphonates, or tetracyclines.
• Should not be taken within 2 hours of consuming foods high in oxalic acid, phosphate or phytic acid.
• Use in pregnancy or breastfeeding only under medical supervision.
• May cause mild gastrointestinal symptoms, skin rash, or elevated calcium in blood/urine.
• If allergic reactions occur (itching, wheezing, swelling), stop taking immediately and seek urgent medical advice.
• Prolonged use may require monitoring of calcium levels and kidney function.

How to use

1. Adults and adolescents over 12: Chew 2 tablets daily, one in the morning and one in the evening.
2. Do not swallow tablets whole. Do not exceed the recommended dose.
3. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible. Do not double up to make up for a missed tablet.
4. If you take too much, contact your doctor or go to A&E immediately.
5. Speak to your doctor before stopping treatment.
